destination weddings in italy

as an international wedding photographer then I have to include italy in my list of destinations as italy is blessed with fantastic venues for weddings. you have the romance and grandeur of both rome and venice and the fantastic countryside of tuscany and the wonderful cities of florence and milan

rome is just stuffed to the gills with history and everywhere you turn you have photo opportunites. rome is of course, quite busy and rushed but rome will always be a popular choice for couples getting married.

venice is simply stunning and a wedding photographers dream. the buildings of venice, the colour of venice, the canals and the gondolas all combine to assault the senses and create a wonderful backdrop for some stunning photographs. venice will always be a top choice.

moving into the italian countryside, the more well-known area of tuscany and florence and, further north, milan stand out from the crowd. tuscany and the city of florence are probably the more popular spots for weddings, outside of rome and venice. again, the colours, the weather and of course the food, all create a very special experience! whereas milan is the home of the fashionistas! milan is a wonderfully cultural city and a very cool place to get married!
