destination weddings in france
as an international wedding photographer then I have to include paris in my list of venues as paris is undoubtedly the most romantic city in the world, and paris plays host to countless weddings from people from all over the world. paris has everything, the sights, the culture, the food and the atmosphere. all these combined make paris one of the most popular cities for weddings, proposals and honeymoons.
outside of paris, then the more popular areas for destination weddings are the french riviera, the cote d'azur, along with cannes, nice and of course monaco. of course, many people from the UK and the USA now live on the french riviera and the cote d'azur, which is why it is popular with marrying couples. cannes and nice are a bit more lively and have beautiful coastlines and weather. whereas, if you can afford it, then monaco is the place for the glamour and the glitz!
